Thomas Lyte is a modern and luxurious English brand, specialising in bespoke gold and silverware, elite sporting trophies, and exquisite leather accessories. Thomas Lyte is proud Royal Warrant Holders as Goldsmiths and Silversmiths to Her Majesty the Queen.
The brand seeks to emulate the English spirit, ensuring the highest quality is embedded into every item. With master craftsmen using traditional skills and modern leading-edge techniques and technologies, the brand is able to create elegant yet modern products.
Thomas Lyte wanted to focus its attention on growth rather than spending 80% of its time maintaining and resolving the technical challenges of its Magento platform, such as security updates and server issues. With Magento 1 coming to an end, an evaluation of Magento 2 and other platforms including VTEX was performed in order to improve efficiency.
Diginius helped Thomas Lyte migrate from Magento to the VTEX platform with native integration to Diginius Insight. This is simple and easier to maintain, as VTEX hosts the site, security and content delivery as well as automatically upgrading the platform. Thomas Lyte also migrated payment to leading provider Adyen, who handles payment for companies such as Uber and Spotify. This is now fully integrated into VTEX.
Diginius undertook the implementation and evolution of the new ecommerce platform based on VTEX and Diginius Insight.
By deploying the combined solution of VTEX and Diginius Insight, Thomas Lyte was able to reduce the cost of digital operations by 70-80% while growing the business. By moving to a robust Enterprise-grade SaaS solution, Thomas Lyte is no longer required to deal with servers, hosting, site security and can instead focus on its core business operations and growth initiatives.
VTEX has been experiencing exponential growth in recent years. Implementation via VTEX is easier than other platforms, is robust and has its own payment gateway and multi-tenant Ecommerce.
VTEX has many features natively that other platforms don’t. The outstanding features are:
The VTEX platform serves 2,500 clients worldwide including Walmart, Danone, Whirlpool, Avon and Lego. They have more than 18 years of experience, having worked with 800 retailers with over 2,000 online stores in more than 17 countries. It is one of the most trusted ecommerce platforms available today.
Companies that have switched to the VTEX platform have increased their organic traffic by 30% and as well as improving their conversion rates by 54%.
